About me
For 30 years, my responsibilities have ranged across the spectrum of publishing — from editor to publisher, from key account sales to senior director of special sales with an eight-figure sales budget:
I have managed large groups of commissioned sales reps, handled foreign and domestic subsidiary rights, sold to national wholesalers and chains, supervised warehouse operations and print production, and managed marketing and publicity. I have also been in charge of distributor relations—both as a distributor and as a client. Special sales have always been a focus of mine, especially of healthcare and cookbook titles.
My clients include several educational and independent trade publishers, a publisher who specializes in information for nonprofits, and several authors.
